As some of you might have noticed, there is a banner for gwonline.net at the bottom of the page. That is because I signed us up on their guild web ring, located on their website. This just lists us as a guild for Guild Wars. I figured this would help get our name out there and increase traffic to the site. Post some comments, letting me know what you think.

Guys, just to let you know I created the capes last night. To make a short story even shorter... I was bored last night so I decided to log on and play with the cape selection we have available. Messing with the cape selection I had the bright idea to ask the district if it was possible to edit the cape once you create it. I was assured by two separate people that you WERE able to edit the cape. To our misfortune you CAN NOT edit the cape after you create it. They were either mistaken, or I can not find the EDIT option, and believe me, I checked everywhere!!!! Good news is the current cape is NOT permanent, and to change it we will need another 2,000. I apologize if you do not agree with the selected cape style/color, and I myself am quite pissed off with the appearance due to my error while confirming the cape style.
Once again, I apologize.

Slushy and I picked up the game this afternoon, and all I can say is AWESOME! I can see we are going to be spending a massive amount of time on this title.
The main purpose of the message is to inform everyone to please post your player profession in the forum, and secondly your player name must be two or more words. To simplify things I found out that the following format works. Ex. B O R G, S L U S H Y. Simply a space between each letter fools the computer. The guild has been created and is called as you may have guessed... Global Disorder with our tag being GD. The tag goes behind your name so our first attempt at making names looked like shit… Gd Borg, came up as Gd Borg [GD].
Anyhow the professions we pick will most likely be crucial down the road. So FYI I am a Warrior, and Slushy is a Ranger. You get to pick a primary profession initially and later in the game you also get to choose a secondary profession to broaden your skill set. The most important needed profession IMO right now is a Monk. They have the all important healing skills that are absolutely mandatory for the harder missions. The secondary Monk skills are also very useful if you choose to go that road, but when the Monk is only used as a secondary you loose the ability to use the primary skill Devine Favor which increases the effectiveness of all your healing skills. The point of all that babble being…we need to have a broad range of skills if we are to be competitive as a team online. We need to learn the skills in there entirety and with that, we will learn how to counter them.

Today Borg and I tried out Guild Wars for about an hour. It was a pretty good time. We killed some shit, and made the Guild. We had to start over though, when we realized the guild adds a [GD] tag to the end of our name. So, for future players, just use your name, no "GD" in front of it. Also, you are going to have to use spaces between each letter, as the game makes you have two names. Ex. S L U S H Y, B O R G.
With Borg and I, plus two guys from his work, we have 4 in the Guild right now. It would be nice to get some more soon, so we can all level up together. Alright, peace.
Slushy
